Chamber Committees
Budget Committee
Responsible for developing and monitoring the Chamber’s annual budget.
Chair: Board Treasurer
Chamber Guide Committee
Arranges the annual production, publication, and distribution of the Guide to Fluvanna County, a directory of County resources and Chamber members. Current print runs are 5,000 copies. Beginning in 2012, the publication will be available for 12-months, with an April release date.

Finance Committee
Responsible for fund development initiatives, auditing procedures, and annual reports.
Chair: Scott Valentine (Board President).
Marketing & Communications Committee
Advises chamber on IT decisions, website, and marketing.
Chair: Vicki Karabinus (Board Secretary)
Member Outreach Committee
Charged with courting prospective members and supporting current members, they also become involved with membership issues, development of new benefits, and production of "Ribbon Cutting" ceremonies.

Nominating Committee
Responsible for the development of slates of candidates for membership on the Board of Directors.

Scholarship Committee
Responsible for selection of student(s) to be awarded the Fluvanna County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, funded by our annual benefit golf tournament.
Special Events Committee
Oversees the production of our large special events including BBQ, BANDS and BREW (June), Wine Festival (September), and Christmas Social (December). Assists the Executive Assistant with scheduling Business After Hours. Also handles miscellaneous events that come up through the year and require forward planning and organization.
